I started taking pictures to preserve visual memories of a city I thought I would move away from. I never intended on it being anymore than a creative outlet for me when I decided to stick around, and found frustrations in my career as a graphic designer. After losing a job as an art director at an ad agency a few years ago, I did what most people wouldn't...blew my severance pay on a camera kit.

Three months later, I landed my first gig.

People ask me all the time where I studied photography, and are ususally surprised when I say "I didn't." The term "self-taught" seems a bit cliché, but it's the only way to explain it.

Fill out the form to the right to get the rest of the story...or better yet, fill out the form on the right to hire me.
